THREAD VEIN REMOVAL
I have been treating these skin problems successfully for over 6 years. Facial spider veins or thread veins are difficult to hide. Radio frequency is a way to treat these small veins on the face, such as those troublesome areas on the nose and cheeks. The heat produced by the radio-frequency seals and destroys the veins. It is a safe and effective treatment for:
What is the downtime?
The redness after the treatment usually last a few days, but can usually be camouflaged with make-up, so down-time is minimal.
What are the benefits?
The treatment usually results in an instant clearance of the treated thread veins.
How long do the effects last?
The benefits are long term. Eventually your skin may develop new thread veins, but these can be treated as and when needed.
What can go wrong?
This a low risk treatment, but with any medical treatment things can go wrong. For example, treatment of a particularly large thread vein might sometimes leave a slight mark where the vein used to be, but will be a lot less unsightly. Also, skin that has been injured might be a bit lighter or darker for a while afterwards, but this is very rare with this treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments that you will need depends on how many thread veins or spider veins that you have. Generally one treatment session makes a huge difference and is sufficient for most clients. Some people have left the decision to have treatment for their thread veins for years, and can have a very dense carpet of thread veins that might need two or even three treatment sessions.
Who can't have this treatment?
If you have a pacemaker you should not have this treatment, as the radio-frequency may cause interference.
